Indoor restrictions affecting Ultimate in Scotland and Wales

In Scotland, for three weeks from 26th December, adult indoor contact sport is not permitted. In terms of the UKU Phased Return to Play, this means returning to Phase B (affecting indoors only).

In Wales there are general, temporary limits on the size of indoor gatherings (30 people) although today’s announcement was somewhat ambiguous about whether close contact indoor team sport could continue. Clubs with bookings in this period may need to liaise with their venue until we are able to clarify this point.

Finally we note that we may not provide ongoing, regular updates on changes to Covid-19 restrictions that affect Ultimate between today (22nd December) and New Year. We will provide an update early in January that summarises the situation at that time.
