Volunteer
Volunteers are an amazing and critical part of the way UK Ultimate functions, from board members and those who sit on committees, to people who help with projects, deliver events and work within the GB Ultimate programme.
Current opportunities:
Whilst UK Ultimate has some paid staff, much of what the organisation does requires the involvement of volunteers for both decision-making and crucially to work on specific tasks and projects. This work is often done by UKU sub-committees. These committees include some UKU staff time, but are mostly run by volunteers.
Please look here for more information about all of the UKU sub-committees. UKU sub-committees include:
Competitions committee
DEI committee
GB oversight committee
Safeguarding committee
Scheduling committee
SOTG committee
University committee
Women’s committee
Committee roles are selected by election or appointment by the chairperson/committee/board. If you would like to get involved and support some of the work or projects committees are doing, please get in touch using the form below.
If you have questions please email admin@ukultimate.com and we will direct your query to the most appropriate person.
If you can’t commit long-term, here are some more ways you could help out
Share, share, share
By simply sharing our posts, stories and messages with your teammates, other teams, friends and family members you can help to promote UKU.
Think local
Could you start running Ultimate locally? Could you provide more opportunity for youth players? We can offer advise on how to get started.
Donate
As an unfunded organisation, donations are a wonderful gift and can make a real difference. Take a look at some options here, simply add a donation when you purchase membership, or you could get in touch directly.
Are you an expert?
Sometimes we need help from experts (for example lawyers, safeguarding experts, those who work in digital marketing, and more). Could we keep your details on file in case we need help in the future? Please get in touch.
