UKU We All Play Mixed 2024 - Mixed Tour

UKU Mixed Tour event, We All Play Mixed, held at The Pavilion, Moor Lane, Birmingham.

At the same venue, we will be running an EUF Summer Tour event - please DO NOT enter We All Play Mixed if you have already entered EUF Summer Tour.

This weekend for We All Play Mixed/EUF Summer Tour, we are asking team captains to join a WhatsApp Community so that we can communicate any important announcements to teams throughout the weekend. Numbers are not visible in the community.

This event will follow the UKU Tournament Rules.

  • Team Fees & Player Fees

    The team fee at the point of entry is £150. There will be a £15 player fee collected closer to the event

    Once teams have been confirmed, each team will need to make a payment based on the number of players on their roster.

    Rosters:

    All the teams must make sure that their team rosters are up to date on the system BEFORE Saturday morning of the event. Any issues, please email admin@ukultimate.com.

    All players must have up-to-date full membership for the event

    Venue: The Pavilion, Moor Lane, Birmingham B6 7AA

    NO DOGS - please tell all friends and family planning to come along and watch that dogs are NOT permitted on site at the fields.

    ON ARRIVAL - report to the TD Desk on arrival to sign off on your roster, receive any important notices & to collect your team disc. There will not be a separate captain’s meeting, but every team should make sure that a representative checks in on arrival.

    SHOWERS & TOILETS - changing rooms, showers and toilets will be located in the pavilion. Signs will indicate which are male and female.

    CAR PARKING - There will be plenty of parking on site. Please park responsibly. Please can those arriving in minibuses use the overflow carpark during the weekend.

    WATER - Water will be available from taps based in and around the sports centre. We recommend that players bring at least two 1 litre water bottles with them.

    FOOD - There will be food available on site for sale.

  • Free camping is available onsite for both Friday (from 7pm) and Saturday nights.

    Access to camping on Friday night will be via the gate closest to the main building.

    Please follow these rules whilst camping:

    No cooking of any kind allowed on site

    No fires allowed

    No smoking allowed

    Pitch your tent in the marked areas

    Walkways should be left clear so people can navigate through the campsite

    Please ensure you put any rubbish in the bins provided

    Be considerate of others who may be trying to sleep nearby

    Any belongings left in the campsite area is at the risk of the owner and both the venue and UKU take no responsibility for the loss or damage of any items.

    ANYONE BREAKING THESE RULES MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE

  • Medical Support

    There will be first aid / emergency cover on site, located near the pavilion.

    Safety

    KEEP THE SIDELINES CLEAR - gaps between the pitches are for safety reasons, please do not sit in those gaps or fill them with items such as kit bags, chairs or prams. Certain sidelines are for players only.

    Please do a visual check of the playing area and remain vigilant for any potential hazards on and close to the pitch.

    Please take off your jewellery / watch / Fitbit, etc - We urge players to follow rule 3.4. in the Official WFDF Rules of Ultimate.

  • Spirit scores are entered using online forms (you’ll find the link using the button at the top of this page).

    You should be able to access the form on a smartphone. If you have any issues please go to the TD desk.

    Please aim to enter your scores after each game or by the end of play on each day. Scores submitted after midnight on the last day of the event are unlikely to be included in the Spirit data.

    Before further information is announced teams should plan on the basis of play between approx. 9:00-18:00 on Saturday and 9:00-17:00 on Sunday.
