UKU UMIR 11-12 November 2023 - Draft Schedules Available
The draft schedules for University Men’s Indoor Regionals, taking place on 11-12 Nov 2023 across various regions, are now available.
Please note the following important information for all tournaments:
Membership - ALL PLAYERS at UMIR need Basic UKU Membership. Club admins can check the membership status of your players by logging into JustGo and going to “Club Members”.
Seedings - Please note that we make some minor adjustments to the published seedings, in order to avoid teams from the same University being in the same first-round pool.

ON ARRIVAL - report to the TD Desk to receive any important notices and to collect your team disc. There will not be a separate captain’s meeting, but every team should make sure that a representative checks in on arrival.
VENUE INFO - No metal studs should be worn on the synthetic pitch. Moulded studs or cleats are recommended.
This venue requires portable pitch lines. Please be careful when playing to avoid tripping over them.
CAR PARKING - If travelling by car or minibus, please use the car park to the north of the buildings. There is free car parking, but this is sometimes very busy so please give yourself enough time.
FOOD - There is no food available on site and very few options within walking distance so we recommend bringing food for the day.

FOOD - There are vending machines selling drinks and small snacks. There are other options within walking distance.

There are important requirements about keeping bags at the edge of the room, and staying in certain areas when not directly involved in games. This is about maintaining the field in good condition, which affects the venue’s FIFA rating. Please respect these rules.

Please do not throw / warm up on the basket ball court unless given explicit permission from the venue staff.
CAR PARKING - Lots of parking available on site however please be aware that there is a parking charge. Please be aware that you will need to provide your registration to reception.
FOOD - The on-site café is closed at weekends but provides a space to hang out between games. Please ensure you bring enough food for the day.

VENUE INFO - The hall is quite tight so please keep the middle of the hall as empty as possible.
OTHER INFO - Please note that a 3 minute warning until the end of the games will be signalled by a single whistle. The end of the games will be signalled by a double whistle.
CAR PARKING - Road access is via Western Avenue. Turn onto Excelsior Road (Tesco Extra turn off), at the roundabout take the first left and immediate first right into Talybont Student Residences.
Parking is available at the sports centre - you will need to press the intercom at the gates to confirm you are playing at the frisbee tournament in the sports centre.
FOOD - There are only vending machines, but supermarkets and other food outlets are available within 3-4 minutes walk.
