UKU UWIR 25-26 November 2023 - Draft Schedules Available
The draft schedules for University Women’s Indoor Regionals, taking place on 25-26 Nov 2023 across various regions, are now available.
Please note the following important information for all tournaments:
Membership - ALL PLAYERS at UWIR need Basic UKU Membership. Club admins can check the membership status of your players by logging into JustGo and going to “Club Members”.
Seedings - Please note that we make some minor adjustments to the published seedings, in order to avoid teams from the same University being in the same first-round pool.

ON ARRIVAL - report to the TD Desk to receive any important notices and to collect your team disc. There will not be a separate captain’s meeting, but every team should make sure that a representative checks in on arrival.
VENUE INFO - No metal studs should be worn on the synthetic pitch. Moulded studs or cleats are recommended.
This venue requires portable pitch lines. Please be careful when playing to avoid tripping over them.
CAR PARKING - If travelling by car or minibus, please use the car park to the north of the buildings. There is free car parking, but this is sometimes very busy so please give yourself enough time.
FOOD - There is no food available on site and very few options within walking distance so we recommend bringing food for the day.

PARKING - there is a car park on-site for participants to use. Please remember we are not the only users of the Arena so please be considerate when you park.
FOOD - There is NO a café on site. There are vending machines selling drinks and small snacks. There are other options a short walk from the venue.

There are important requirements about keeping bags at the edge of the room, and staying in certain areas when not directly involved in games. This is about maintaining the field in good condition, which affects the venue’s FIFA rating. Please respect these rules.
CAR PARKING - There is plenty of parking on-site. If the main car park is very busy please note there are spaces available in car park 2 (next to the athletics track) and in the overflow car park, along with other car parks in the wider park. Please use the overflow parking areas.

This event is now taking place at WV Active Aldersley in Wolverhampton. This is a hardcourt venue.
ON ARRIVAL - report to the TD Desk to receive any important notices and to collect your team disc. There will not be a separate captain’s meeting, but every team should make sure that a representative checks in on arrival.
VENUE INFO - Please don’t take all of your stuff to the playing area. Essentials such as water or inhalers can be kept on the sidelines during play but they MUST be kept a safe distance from the edge of the pitch.
Players should wear clean non-marking trainers. We request that players ONLY wear their playing shoes in the building and wear a different pair of shoes when outdoors both on arrival and during the event.
Please remember that we are not the only users of the centre over the weekend so please refrain from blocking/throwing in front of doors or hallways.
CAR PARKING - There should be plenty of parking but we recommend that you do not leave any valuables in your vehicles during the day.
FOOD - We cannot guarantee food will be available. Please ensure all you bring the food you need with you.
