Update re BUCS Women’s League 2023-24.

A number of factors have led us to move UKU Nationals 2024 to 6-7 July. The event will take place at Highfields Sports Complex, University of Nottingham.

Congratulations to our returning and newly elected board members.

Nominations are now open for a number of UKU board roles to be appointed later this summer.

With apologies for the late change of plan and any resulting disruption, we have decided to postpone the launch of the National League in 2023. That is, the League will not run in 2023.

We are issuing a clarification on the rostering rules for University Indoor Competitions, specifically the case where multiple teams from one institution qualify for Nationals due to some queries and ambiguity in the published competition rules - please see below.

UKU Spirit of the Game - Club of the Year 2022

We are looking for new volunteers to fill the following roles:

U20 Women’s Manager, U20 Women’s Assistant coach, U20 Open Manager, U17 Open Lead Coach, U17 Open Assistant Coach.

We welcome applications from individuals or small groups. Please apply using this form, the deadline is Thursday 15th December.

The schedule for Junior Women’s Indoor Nationals on Sunday 20th November is now available here.

Good luck to all the teams playing in BUCS Women’s League matches on Saturday 12th November. Due to variations in the number of teams playing at each venue, and the time/space availability, it may be helpful and in everyone’s best interest that game lengths are modified in some leagues.

Date correction for Club Mixed Indoor Nationals (CXIN) - this event will be held on 11-12 March 2023.

Update 4th Nov: Fixtures are in place for all teams in all five leagues on Sat 12th November. The details should now be up to date in BUCS Play.

We are working on dates and potential venues for our club competitions in 2023 but thought it would be useful to provide an update on plans.
